Howl-O-Ween

Fairmont Washington D.C., Georgetown’s Canine Ambassador Georgie*, invites friends and neighbors to stop by with their canine companions for Fairmont’s 13th annual Howl-O-Ween. The event, takes place on
Tuesday, October 29 in the Courtyard Bar from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.

Prizes, awarded at 7:00pm, are for best-costumed doggies with their people, including overnight stays, dinners and more. Local celebrity judges will award prizes for most creative, most adorable, funniest and honorable mentions.

All dogs are treated to pawsome peanut butter doggie biscuits created by Fairmont’s pastry team; canine coolers are placed throughout the courtyard too. Humans can purchase spooky Halloween-themed cocktails and Puptails for four-legged guests.

Enter through the M Street Alley way straight into the courtyard. There is no charge to attend Fairmont’s 13th Annual Howl-O-Ween.

No reservations are necessary.

*Georgie, a yellow Labrador, was born on August 17, 2018 at Guiding Eyes for the Blind, with the aspiration of one day becoming a guide dog. However, she was found to be way too friendly for that role. Luckily, Mark Huntley the hotel’s general manager and RVP knew she was better suited for the hospitality industry. She spends her time in the lobby and courtyard greeting guests, visitors and holding special events.
